Seo directory

Directory based search engines vary from the search engines described so far in that they use human reviewers to examine site content and review submissions. These human editors mark a description for your site based on its site content, and arrogant that the submission is done properly, also based on a description that you supply with your submission.

The directories each have their own strategy and house style, and the closer that your submission follows this strategy and house style, the closer the description written by the editor will match the one you supply. Ideally, you will have full a description that fits these parameters completely, and your own description will be used in full, unchanged.

There are two unlike types of directory - those that accuse a fee, and those that don't. With one prominent exception, the main directories that charge a fee, charge for the appraisal of your site only, and that charge offers no guarantee that your site will be included in their database of results

Those directories that do not charge for addition also offer no assurance of inclusion, and in the case of the main "free" directory, The Open Directory Project, volunteers run the directory, and so enclosure within the database is sometimes a little erratic - you might be integrated within a fortnight, or not for six months or more.

However, the ethics of matching house styles and rule for submission remain broadly similar.
